Author's Journey
Dr. L.A. Stanton’s path to authorship is a testament to resilience, purpose, and a lifelong commitment to healing communities one relationship at a time. With two transformative book releases scheduled for November 30, 2025 and December 15, 2025, Dr. Stanton enters the literary world with a powerful blend of lived experience, academic depth, and heart-centered wisdom.
Covering multiple genres—including memoir, relationship guidance, teen conflict resolution, and co-parenting education—her writing reflects the complexity of real life and the hope that lives within it. Each book is rooted in authenticity, practical guidance, and a deep understanding of human behavior.
Dr. Stanton holds a PhD in Psychology, MBA in Business, and brings more than 35 years of experience in healthcare. These disciplines converge in her writing to create work that is both emotionally resonant and professionally insightful. As a mother of four, grandmother of four, and godmother to one, she writes not only as a scholar and veteran professional, but as a woman who has navigated the many seasons of family, love, loss, growth, and restoration.
Today, Dr. Stanton serves as the Executive Director of the Texas Center of Behavioral and Social Wellness, a nonprofit dedicated to social wellness, behavioral health support, and empowerment for veterans, youth, and families. She is also the Program Monitor for Face to Face Enrichment Center – Dallas, where she helps guide youth engagement and relationship-building initiatives that shape the next generation.
Her books are an extension of this mission—offering clarity, compassion, and real-world tools that readers can immediately apply. Dr. Stanton’s voice bridges the gap between personal truth and professional expertise, speaking to those seeking healing, deeper connection, and stronger relationships.
Through storytelling, research-based insight, and transparent reflection, Dr. L.A. Stanton invites readers to grow with her… and to discover that transformation is always possible when we choose courage, honesty, and hope.
